Review

(Apr 13, 2004) I admit that I don't study the New Testament like I should. I have always enjoyed the stories, and I felt that I have learned a lot about the miracles of Jesus through the course of my life. I realized how wrong I was when I started this book.

This is a non fiction book about the miracles performed by Jesus Christ. The author breaks down the book into eight different parts — which all focus on something different for a chapter or two. Part One: The Miracles in Perspective, Part Two: Jesus — Messiahship Witnessed to the People, etc. In each chapter, the scriptures discussed are listed — both scripture reference and text, making it easy for the reader to follow along without having to reference their own scriptures.

Bro. Howick discusses the miracles performed by Jesus Christ and what the climate and culture of the Jewish people was like during this time period in history. Understanding the culture and history makes it easier to understand the miracles (which are also discussed in great detail) and I was astounded by the things I learned. As I have gone through this book, my testimony of Jesus Christ has grown and I have had a great desire to talk about the things I have learned to friends and family.

I recommend this book to all that would like to expand their knowledge and appreciation of the miracles performed by Jesus Christ. It is written in a very reader friendly format. I felt that I learned a great deal and it renewed my interest in reading the New Testament.
