Enjoy this four volume set of concise histories of the four most important eras of the early Church: Palmyra, Kirtland, Zion, and Nauvoo. Looked upon by Church members today as the golden days of Church growth, these four periods contained glorious revelation, achievement, and industry; equaled only by heroic challenged, trials, and tragedy. Filled with very human and humorous stories such as Hyrum Smith humbugging the City of Nauvoo and descriptions of the transcendental events such as the courage of the Saints at Haun’s Mill, these books will open the reader’s mind to the breathtaking early history of the Church.
